Love Whispurrs is a TICA registered cattery, located in Victoria BC, raising high quality purebred Bengal cats. We have a small in home cattery where our Bengals are raised as part of our family of 5, which includes 3 school aged boys! The kittens and cats are used to being picked up, snuggled, picked up, played with, and picked up some more!
We pride ourselves in the care, health, and quality of our kittens and ensure that they are well socialized and visually stunning! We strive to ensure their new owners are well educated so that these precious kittens and cats get the love and attention they deserve!
Our Story
After adopting our first Bengal, we fell in love with the breed. Not only was she beautiful, but her personality, loyalty, and constant purr always made our hearts melt. After many hours of research, reading about Bengals, and hearing bad stories about them, we realized something was missing in many Bengals upbringing... kittens raised in a home with love, care, and attention.
Bengals are an amazing breed, but if they aren't raised in a good environment (ie. Cages), they can turn out to be scared and have many behavioral problems. "Backyard breeders" or non registered breeders may have so many cats and kittens, that they just can't give them what they need... thus leading to the Bengal reputation of being "not good family pets". We 100% disagree with this.
We love Bengals and want to share TRUE Bengals with people. Dog like cats! Who love being around people, love attention, are energetic, and will be best buddies to their new families. Bengals make amazing pets, but only when they are properly cared for and loved.
Our passion for these beautiful creatures lead us to the decision of starting our own TICA registered cattery, raising Bengals with the life they deserve, and allowing them to be adopted by the families that will love and care for them as much as we do!
